The City of Miramar will host the 20th annual A Sip of Wine … A Taste of Heaven food and wine festival next month, showcasing the offerings of restaurants from across the city and neighboring Pembroke Pines and Weston.

The event, sponsored by the Miramar Pembroke Pines Regional Chamber of Commerce, is an annual fixture that draws residents from across Southwest Broward County. More than 1,000 attendees are expected to attend.

“I call this event our Super Bowl,” Patricia Archer, the chamber’s CEO, told the Miramar News on Tuesday, Feb. 10. “It’s an event that helps expose our members and their businesses to the community.”

Archer said the restaurants participating include mom and pop eateries, local favorities and large chains from Miramar, Pembroke Pines and Weston.

This year’s event is scheduled for Saturday, March 14, at the Miramar Regional Park Amphitheater.

General admission tickets are $80. A limited number of VIP tickets are available for $100, which include early entry, priority parking, a commemorative wine glass and access to a designated bar and seating area. Parking is available at the amphitheater and costs $10. .
