A popular Miami Lakes French brunch and coffee spot is expanding into Miramar, joining a growing list of new eateries opening at the Miramar Town Center.

Vanilla Espresso French Café announced on social media that it will bring its specialty coffee, brunch offerings and French café-style menu to the city.

“Miramar Town Center… we’re coming!” the café announced on Instagram.

A Miramar News reporter visited the site on Tuesday, Jan. 13, and observed it is under construction at the corner-lot location at 11679 City Hall Promenade.

An opening date has not been announced. The owners could not be reached for comment.

Vanilla Espresso said on Instagram that the new shop will offer the same blend of brunch, coffee and café-style ambiance that helped make its Miami Lakes location a hit. Here is a sample of its menu.

The owners, who describe the eatery as an independent artisan French café and restaurant, are calling the new shop an extension of its signature “Vanilla experience,” known for sweet pastries, brunch dishes and curated coffee drinks.

The Miramar location will mark the brand’s latest expansion following the success of its café in Miami Lakes, where Vanilla Espresso has built a strong following for its brunch-focused menu, espresso drinks and Instagram-friendly presentation.

The Miami Lakes shop is a popular destination for weekend brunch and casual meetups.

The Instagram announcement sparked excitement among Miramar residents, many of whom welcomed the addition in the comments, with several noting the convenience of having the café closer to home.

Recently, Brandon’s Bistro, a popular Black-owned restaurant in Pembroke Pines, announced it is planning to open a new location at the Miramar Town Center.

The Miramar Town Center is a live-work-play community near Miramar City Hall.
