Four restaurants are getting together from Miramar and Pembroke Pines for a happy hour event with the local chamber of commerce.

The Juici Patties Hibiscus Room is hosting a pop-up featuring nearby restaurants from 5 to 9 p.m. on Friday, May 1.

Juici Patties in Miramar Town Center hosts happy hour events regularly, but owner Annette Kidd had the idea of expanding it to fellow members of the Miramar Pembroke Pines Regional Chamber of Commerce.

The Jamaican restaurant celebrated one year in business back in February.

Lume Bistro & Lounge, Cleveland’s Old Fashioned Ice Cream and Shawarma Shack will be offering a few menu items for purchase so that residents can get to know new businesses.

Expect a price point below $15 a plate, Kidd said.

“We’ve created a food tour for them,” she told the Miramar News on April 24.

She hopes the collaboration will encourage business owners “and create something fun and unique and different, and at the same time, benefitting the community,” she said.

The Lume Bistro & Lounge dinner menu features Caribbean-inspired dishes, seafood and steak at 12389 Pembroke Road in Pembroke Pines.

Shawarma Shack at 11040 Pembroke Road in Miramar is known for its Halal food. Kebabs, wraps, falafel, pita and tabbouleh are some menu staples.

Cleveland’s Old Fashioned Ice Cream has been around for over 37 years and currently operates at two locations, serving a wide range of flavors. Try the birthday cake, cookie dough or M&M flavors, or go dairy free with a vegan flavor at 6933 Miramar Pkwy.
