Losing SNAP benefits? Here’s where you can get food in Miramar during shutdown
Low-income families who rely on SNAP benefits to help buy food are facing uncertainty during the government shutdown , with questions about when future payments will be issued.
President Donald Trump’s administration on Monday, Nov. 3, said it would partially fund SNAP benefits during this food crisis, but those payments will be less than usual and significantly delayed.
As a result, many families have turned to free food pantries for assistance.
