College soccer standout returns home, ready to give back to the next generation

Soccer fans at Miramar Regional Park will see more than recreational play on Saturday, Dec. 6.

Logan Hall, a standout freshman defender on Jacksonville University’s squad, is joining the Miramar Police Athletic League for a 9 a.m. community event.

The event offers hands-on training from Division I athletes who will also run drills for the young players, according to the Miramar Police Athletic League flyer.

Hall was named the Florida Gatorade Player of the Year in 2024. He is from Miramar and attended Pembroke Pines Charter High School.

As a high school senior, he was named the Miami Herald Player of the Year and Sun Sentinel Player of the Year for the 2024-25 season.

Hall played in the Miramar Police Athletic League starting at age 3, according to Caribbean National Weekly, before he moved oto Supreme Miramar FC.

At Pembroke Pines Charter, he was captain of the varsity squad, according to MaxPreps. He recently was named Atlantic Sun Conference Freshman of the Year after starting 14 of 17 games for the Dolphins during the 2025 season.

The Miramar Police Athletic League offers indoor and outdoor soccer leagues for children as well as golf, basketball and a summer camp that is designed for at-risk teens.
