New Marriott-brand hotel planned for Miramar Park of Commerce. Here are details
The Miramar Park of Commerce continues to gain tenants with a new hotel plan approved.
On Red Road and Marks Way, Marriott and Hilton hotels take up the corner behind a large, empty plot. This will be the site of a Fairfield Inn & Suites and TownePlace Suites, according to official licensing information.
The Marriott owned and operated hotel’s plan went before the Miramar commission in 2024. Their food service license was approved Dec. 8, 2025.
Across the street, 7 News and ABC Miami continue construction on their new headquarters in the park.
The project is led by Miramar Park Hotels and originally included 160 units across both Marriott brands, according to Florida YIMBY. The architecture team is George White Architecture, which has worked on Fairfield Inn & Suites previously.
Developers told the Miramar News on Feb. 11 that they plan to break ground in the second quarter of 2026, and open in the second quarter of 2028.
The Fairfield Inn plan consists of 84 rooms ranging from 254 to 482 square feet, and the TownePlace Suites plan has 76 extended-stay rooms ranging from 399 to 498 square feet, YIMBY’s report says.
EA3 Civil Engineering is also involved, working on the stormwater drainage design, water and sewer utilities design, details, pavement markings and signage, and stormwater pollution prevention plan.
