If you’ve got a couple of missed calls from your mom this week, don’t panic.

Mother’s Day is around the corner, and she’ll likely expect a gameplan for her big day. Here’s where we come in.

This week, Miramar is offering plenty of festive options that’ll dub you “Mom’s favorite.” On the list are fireside chats, cupcake workshops and brunch options.

Moms of Miramar: Poured Into

Enjoy an evening of sisterhood and connection at this city-sponsored event Thursday from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Commissioner Avril Cherasard will lead an evening filled with spiritual fireside chats, wellness conversations and opportunities to honor moms at the Miramar Cultural Center’s banquet hall. This free event is sold out, but a waitlist is available for those hoping to snag a spot.

Petals and Pastries

Self-proclaimed sweet tooths can enjoy this DIY cupcake workshop Saturday from 3 to 4 p.m. at the Miramar Branch Library. South Florida cake artist My Cupcake Love will guide participants through a flower pot and fondant cupcake tutorial. Attendees are welcome to enjoy their tasty creations afterward. Spots are limited and tickets — which include the cost of all materials — are $25 at this ages 5 and up event.

Savory Sundays Mother’s Day Brunch

Treat your mom to a late brunch at Elegance Banquet Hall Sunday from 1 to 7 p.m. The menu includes an all-you-can-eat buffet of Caribbean and American cuisine, bottomless mimosas, $2 shots and $5 drinks. A henna tattoo pop-up and “special surprise” for kids and moms will also make an appearance. Tickets are $30 for adults and $20 for those under 18.
