$1 billion Miramar Cove project opens doors for local contractors. How to apply
A big change is coming to Miramar, and your business can be part of it.
Miramar Cove, a project from Sunbeam Properties & Development, is a $1 billion multi-use complex planned to open in fall 2028 at Miramar Parkway and Red Road.
Sunbeam and Stiles Construction are teaming up to bring shops, apartments, homes, a hotel and beach club to the area on 125 acres of land.
To solicit work for the project, the companies are hosting a contractor fair at the Miramar commission chambers in City Hall from 9 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 10.
Some of the contractors they are looking for:
- asphalt operators
- painters
- plumbers
- electricians
- builders
- landscapers
- HVAC technicians
Be prepared to present the core capabilities of your business through a capability statement at the fair. This should include certifications, major clients and other general information you want the developers to know about your business.
This fair is part of Miramar’s Business Industry Development Program (BID), which encourages participation from underrepresented businesses in city projects.
The city aims to help businesses understand the resources and opportunities available, and works to strengthen partnerships to drive economic development in Miramar.
