An Asian supermarket in southwest Broward County shut down for renovations says it will soon reopen with new customer perks.

Kimchi Mart, located at 11230 Pines Blvd. in Pembroke Pines, will bring “big changes, big flavors” when it returns “in just a few weeks,” the grocery announced in a July 12 Facebook post.

The reopening date has not been announced as of July 13 and the store is two weeks into its revamp.

Kimchi Mart’s team has not responded to the Miramar News’ request for more information as of July 13.

Upgrades include “a fresh new look” and a new food court, with Kimchi Mart adding that customers should “stay tuned — the wait will be worth it.”

The remodel follows the June announcement of the grocery chain’s newest location in West Palm Beach, which is scheduled to open in late 2026 and claims it will be the biggest Asian supermarket in South Florida at 42,000 square feet.

Like its sister locations, the supermarket will stock fresh produce, trendy Asian snacks and traditional, ready-made meals including kimbap, japchae, sushi, bibimbap, bento boxes, donburi bowls and more.
