Whether you’re just looking for a spot to watch some New Year’s Eve fireworks or you want a classy gala to ring in 2026, the City of Miramar has you covered.

Here are several events for all ages and bedtime preferences.

Free New Year’s Eve celebration and fireworks show

The city is organizing its fourth annual New Year’s Eve celebration for free at the Miramar Regional Park baseball field.

Commissioner Maxwell B. Chambers is hosting the event Dec. 31 from 9 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets to watch a fireworks display that will shoot off at midnight.

Admission is free; parking costs $10. The event will go on rain or shine. Reserve your spot on Eventbrite.

Early ball drop for kids

Chambers is additionally hosting the 47th annual early NYE kids’ event Dec. 31 from noon to 5 p.m., also at the baseball field.

The free event includes face painting, popcorn, inflatables and music from a DJ. The Memorial Hospital Pediatric Health Services will stop by the park from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

For the young ones who can’t stay up until midnight, organizers will do an early ball drop, with a countdown starting at 4:50 p.m.

Parking costs $10. Register here.

New Year’s Eve Sade Affair Experience

Chambers’ third event, a dinner and a show, comes with an admission price that will go toward starting a medical clinic on wheels in Jamaica to help those affected by Hurricane Melissa.

For $150 per person or $250 per couple, participants can enjoy live R&B and Motown music from the ‘70s, ‘80s and ‘90s with Sade Affair Experience.

The gala at the Miramar Regional Park Amphitheater calls for semi-formal attire, with dinner served from 9 to 10 p.m.
