The long-awaited second Juici Patties location in Miramar is ready to open now that it has received its certificate of occupancy.

The Jamaican patty shop chain is popular on the island and growing in popularity in the U.S. with the flagship location in Miramar Town Center.

The second Juici Patties location is at 16327 Miramar Parkway, west of I-75 in the Shoppes at Silver Isles.

According to one of the restaurant’s owners, it will open at noon on Saturday, May 23.

The Juici Patties menu features a Jamaican staple: the beef patty. It is sometimes called similar to an empanada and also comes in a spicy version and a veggie version with spinach.

Coco bread is a popular side that wraps around the patty, and customers can add cheese.

Caribbean drinks are also available, such as Tropical Rhythms and Bigga sodas.

The non-traditional bacon, egg and cheese patty will be available for a limited time, according to signs on the restaurant door.

Most Jamaican restaurants in the area west of I-75 are located in Pembroke Pines. This would be one of the first in west Miramar since Beli Full Qzeen closed in 2022.

New locations are opening soon in Boca Raton and Wynwood (online ordering only).
