Deceased driver in early-morning crash was going wrong way, Miramar police say

The driver killed while going the wrong way on County Line Road has been identified as 36-year-old Inacia Da Veiga Andrade, according to the Miramar Police Department.

Andrade, driving a Honda Civic, crashed head-on into a Tesla 3 in the early-morning hours on Oct. 27, police say.

Andrade, a Miami resident, was discovered by Miami Gardens Police and Miami Gardens Fire Rescue pronounced her dead on the scene, according to police.

Miramar Police took on the traffic homicide investigation after it was determined that the crash occurred within their jurisdiction.

The Tesla driver, who has not been identified as of Oct. 28, was taken to Aventura Hospital in critical condition, according to the police.

Police closed County Line Road from the 6000 block to the 7400 block in both directions for hours Monday.
