First Fridays: Network and Chill is a monthly series where Miramar Mayor Wayne M. Messam invites well-known entrepreneurs as guest speakers for a public networking event.

The headliner for this month’s installment is Pretty Vee, the celebrity comedian with over six million Instagram followers known for her performances on the show “Wild N’ Out.”

This installment will be held from 6:30 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 7, at World of Beer on Miramar Parkway.

According to the City of Miramar Economic Development and Housing Department, this is a six-month series featuring business leaders, innovators and local celebrities. Attendees can enjoy music and refreshments and build relationships with other Miramar businesses.

The previous three networking events featured DJ Irie, the official DJ for the Miami Heat; Rohan Marley, Jamaican businessman and son of musician Bob Marley; and Spectacular Smith, entrepreneur and former member of Pretty Ricky.

This networking gathering is free with RSVP but space will be limited. It is directed at the next generation of “entrepreneurs, side hustlers and creatives,” the Eventbrite page reads.

It’s meant to engage Gen Z and millennials, and anyone age 21 to 40 is encouraged to attend.
