Another Aldi grocery store is coming to Miramar. Here’s when and what to know
Aldi will open a new store in Miramar in 2026, the grocery store chain told the Miramar News on Tuesday, Dec. 2.
Since its acquisition of some Winn-Dixie and Harveys supermarkets in 2024, Aldi has been converting some stores and adding new ones as part of its plans to add 800 stores by 2028.
An Aldi opened at Miramar Parkway and Flamingo Road in 2023, in the plaza featuring the new Vibe and Epic Residences.
Bloggers at My Florida Retail suspect that, because Aldi has carried out conversions of some Winn-Dixie stores, the Winn-Dixie at 17101 Miramar Parkway will close to become an Aldi late this month.
However, this is unconfirmed. Winn-Dixie management at the location declined to comment to the Miramar News about the speculation late last month.
In an email, Heather Moore, Aldi Loxley division vice president, told the Miramar News: “We are excited to confirm we will be opening a new location in Miramar in 2026. At this time, we do not have any additional information to share but will be sure to follow up as soon as more information is available.”
Aldi is known for its low prices and private-label products using the store’s brand name.
