A man wounded during a fatal triple shooting at a Miramar gas station on Tuesday, Jan. 6, has now been charged in connection with the shootout, Miramar police said.

J’Shaun Williams, 28, who remained hospitalized as of Jan. 9, has been charged for his role in the shooting and is now in the custody of the Broward Sheriff’s Office, according to Miramar police spokesperson Janice McIntosh.

Authorities did not immediately release details of the charges Williams faces.

The shooting occurred at a Sunoco gas station at Pembroke Road and DeSoto Drive. Security video captured the moments leading up to the violence.

According to investigators, videos show a man approaching a Mercedes-Benz sedan parked at a gas pump and speaking with two other men standing by the vehicle, according to Miami Herald news partner CBS Miami.

The three men exchange handshakes, then suddently open fire on each other and start running for cover. One trips and falls as he tries to duck for cover.

A second video from a different angle appears to show a brief altercation before shots were fired.

Killed in the gunfire was 19-year-old Christian Corea. Two other people, including Williams, were struck by gunfire and wounded. The other was a bystander, a man working on his car across the street. His injury was not life-threatening, officials said.

A third suspect seen fleeing the scene remains at large as of Jan. 9. Police are asking anyone with information about that suspect or the shooting to come forward.
