Miramar’s Praise on the Green is bringing gospel artists to the City Hall lawn with a free concert featuring Jamaica’s Minister Marion Hall.

You can see her and other gospel artists on Friday, Feb. 27, from 7 to 10 p.m.

Formerly known as the “Queen of Dancehall” Lady Saw, Minister Marion Hall is now a successful gospel artist ministering through reggae. She also performed at Praise on the Green in 2024.

This year’s lineup also features Otis Kemp and Reverend Mark Brown and Choir.

According to event planners, artists will honor reggae legends Cat Coore and Jimmy Cliff. Expect to sing along and connect with other community members over inspirational performances.

The three artists performing will showcase their faith and Black culture in their music.

Kemp’s hit song “Church Parking Lot” featuring Tasha Page-Lockhart brings an R&B vibe and reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Gospel Airplay chart.

Brown’s catalog features hymns with him leading a large choir.

Together with the band Inner Circle, Miramar Commissioner Maxwell Chambers will host the event as part of Reggae Month in South Florida.

Other official events are happening all over Broward this week, including two more in Miramar — Selecta Showdown on Friday and the Afro-Carib Festival on Saturday.
