Those seeking out sisterhood — who also enjoy music — can sign up for a free event at the Miramar Cultural Center featuring a traveling musical trio, The String Queens.

There are limited tickets left for the March 10 Women’s History Month celebration called Strings, Soul and Sisterhood, sponsored by Miramar Commissioner Carson “Eddy” Edwards. The event runs from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m.

“The evening will feature a reflective dialogue centered on soul searching, personal growth and the experiences that shape a woman’s journey to success, along with live performances that uplift and unite audiences across Broward County,” according to the event description.

The marquee performers are The String Queens, composed of three female string instrument musicians, whose mission is to “create musical experiences that inspire diverse audiences to love, hope, feel and imagine.”

The Everglades High School jazz band will also perform. .

The event is free, but seating is limited, so attendees must sign up on Eventbrite.
