The City of Miramar wants to help you honor family members who died in service to the country this Memorial Day.

At its celebration on Monday, May 25, Miramar will remember those who paid the “ultimate sacrifice,” the Eventbrite page reads.

The ceremony is scheduled to take place at 11:30 a.m. at the Miramar Regional Park 9/11 & Veterans Memorial.

For this Memorial Day tribute, the city will recognize 20 fallen military servicemembers.

“The City of Miramar will be honoring heroes past and present at our Memorial Day Ceremony, as we gather to remember the brave souls who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom,” the city wrote in an Instagram post.

To submit your family member’s information, fill out this form with their name, official uniform portrait and branch of service.

To honor living service members, the city will display their photos and information on banners throughout the city.

Only 20 spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis for Miramar residents who are active service members, honorably discharged veterans or those who have served in the military.

The Miramar Regional Park 9/11 & Veterans Memorial is located at 16801 Miramar Parkway.
