Homeownership, retirement and wealth headline Miramar expo. Hear from experts
Those looking to buy a home, grow their investments or plan for retirement will have a chance to connect with financial experts at Miramar’s Real Estate & Financial Summit.
Hosted by Commissioner Avril Cherasard, the event will gather industry leaders and financial professionals who can provide strategies for building a stronger financial future.
This free event is scheduled to take place from 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, at City Hall.
Vendor registration is also open for businesses to promote at the event and network with attendees.
In addition to home buying advice, the event will focus on retirement strategies, estate planning, insurance, financial planning and access to community resources.
“June is homeownership month. ... We are sharing resources and information for current and future Miramar homeowners,” Cherasard said in an Instagram post.
The event will feature industry experts such as mortgage loan advisors, attorneys, financial advisors and brokers.
Headliner Ketline Bazile is a Christian author and real estate broker who will share her expertise in financial planning and realty.
Karen Sanchez, founder of Financially Savvy Women, will speak on building a strong financial foundation, preparing financially for homeownership and creating a wealth-building plan.
“This event also provides opportunities to connect with local businesses, community leaders, and resource partners dedicated to helping individuals and families succeed,” the Eventbrite page reads.
The intended takeaways are strategies for building wealth and protecting that wealth.
