Chick-fil-A’s reopening in Miramar just got a lot bigger.

The Fountains of Miramar location is adding special events to its opening weekend, including giveaways and kids’ activities.

The location recently announced its grand reopening, which is scheduled for 6:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 18.

This location, one of two in Miramar, closed in January for extensive renovations to its dining room, drive-thru and parking lot.

The celebration runs Thursday-Saturday with giveaways and meals with the signature cow mascots.

Arrive during breakfast hours Thursday for a chance to receive a special gift, available to the first 100 guests.

From 11 a.m to 2 p.m., restaurant goers can have lunch with the cow mascot. Later in the day, the restaurant will announce the winner of its social media giveaway, followed by dinner with the cow from 5 to 7 p.m.

On Friday, there will be another giveaway of breakfast items in the drive-thru from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m.

Lunch with the cow returns on Friday, and from 5 to 7 p.m. there will be stickers for kids.

Saturday features a big giveaway: Dads eat free, in honor of Father’s Day. One free chicken biscuit or 4-count mini for breakfast, or an original chicken sandwich or 8-count nuggets for lunch for every father.

Kids can enjoy cow appearances and face painting from 9 a.m. to noon as well as cow crafts.

The Chick-fil-A at 3211 Dykes Road will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. except on Sundays.
