Friday
Happy Hour — 5 to 9 p.m.
The Miramar Pembroke Pines Chamber of Commerce invites you to its free happy hour, hosted by Juici Patties. Four restaurants came together to showcase their food and desserts: Lume Bistro and Lounge, Cleveland’s Ice Cream and Shawarma Shack will join the patty shop. Get a taste of a new restaurant at the Hibiscus Room inside the Juici Patties in Town Center.
Live Band Friday — 8 p.m.
Miramar Seafood & Steak invites a band each week that takes the crowd beyond the eating experience. Reaxion Band and other bands play every Friday and Sunday. Get there between 4 and 6 p.m. for happy hour, or at 8 p.m. for the music.
Saturday
Managing Your Finances 101 — 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Vice Mayor Carson “Eddy” Edwards and Hispanic Community Advocates are hosting a day full off free workshops about financial topics such as credit, budgeting, banking, basic accounting and financial planning. Expect six expert guest speakers, from financial advisors to lawyers. “Hear from a lineup of experienced professionals ready to help you level up your finances and make smarter money moves,” the city wrote in an Instagram post. The workshop will be held at the Miramar Branch Library.
YOGA at MCC Botanical Garden — 10 a.m.
Mayor Wayne M. Messam hosts this free yoga class every Saturday at the Miramar Cultural Center Botanical Garden. In this outdoor setting, attendees of all levels of experience follow along with a yoga flow. Make sure to bring your own mat and fill out the city’s release form in advance.
Honoring Trailblazers of the Fire Service Brunch & Oratorical Contest — 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Celebrate the hard work of firefighters with the Professional Firefighters Association at the Miramar Cultural Center. They will recognize extraordinary individuals and give out scholarships. Tickets are $60 for the brunch.
Miramar Resource Fair 2026 — 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The social services department and Farm Share team up for a free food distribution. Learn about the resources the city has to offer at the Alexandra P. Davis Multi-Service Complex and arrive early as food is first come, first served.
Car Seat Safety Check — 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Join the Thrive Center for a free, hands-on demonstration on car seats. A certified child passenger safety technician can guide you on how to install them correctly and answer any questions you may have.
Adult Coloring — 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
On the first Saturday of every month, the Miramar Branch Library opens its doors to adults who want to relax through coloring. All supplies will be provided, just show up ready to color and chat with others, whether you’re new to it or just curious.
Sunday
‘Star Wars’ Brunch with Trivia — 11 a.m.
World of Beer Miramar is serving a themed “Star Wars” brunch, complete with a trivia competition. The restaurant encourages parties to arrive early for the “out-of-this-world” bites and drinks. See how much you know about every era of the “Star Wars” saga.
