Francisca to continue its South Florida expansion with restaurant in Miramar
Francisca Charcoal Chicken & Meats, a Latin restaurant concept with Venezuelan roots, is preparing to open a new location in Miramar as part of its continued expansion across Florida.
The eatery is expected to open by April or May, Rafael Zuzolo, the real estate broker involved in its franchising efforts, told the Miramar News on Wednesday, Jan. 14. Zuzolo announced the new Miramar location on Facebook.
Francisca will open next door to Brandon’s Bistro at 11735 City Hall Promenade, within view of Miramar City Hall.
Francisca specializes in charcoal-grilled chicken and meats, offering a menu influenced by Venezuelan flavors, generous portions served in a family-friendly atmosphere and reasonably priced.
For now, it appears to be the only Latin cuisine restaurant in the promenade, which is continuing to fill up with new businesses.
The Miramar outpost is the latest Florida location planned as the Francisca brand grows. The restaurant also has locations in Davie, Miami Lakes, Doral and Orlando, marking its first expansion outside South Florida. It also has food trucks in Kendall and Brickell.
Francisca CEO Jesús Pita has previously said the expansion reflects sustained customer support since the restaurant’s debut, prompting the company to bring the concept to more cities across Florida.
