“A Charlie Brown Christmas: Live on Stage” comes to the Miramar Cultural Center next month, and tickets are now on sale.

Scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 14, the stage production of the “A Charlie Brown Christmas” TV special will showcase live dancing and singing.

The television special, first aired in 1965, features classic Christmas songs and characters from Peanuts, the comic strip created by Charles M. Schulz. In the story, Charlie Brown and his friends try to find the meaning of Christmas.

In this touring stage production, actors don’t wear character costumes but perform in the character’s clothes, emulating Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Linus, Lucy, Sally and more.

The show will also feature the original score by Vince Guaraldi. Like the TV special, it is family-friendly and geared toward young children.

“This heartwarming production is the perfect holiday present, an unforgettable event that will delight audiences of all ages and create cherished memories for the whole family,” the Miramar Cultural Center says.

Tickets are $25 each before taxes and fees.
